The Council of Representatives is the highest decision-making body in the student union. The Council decides (among other things) on strategy, budget and action plan for the student union, and other policy outlines. The Council also elects the Board of the Student Union.
The council usually meets once a month, typically in a lecture room at one of the university campuses. The council contains several council groups, and discussions at the meetings are lively. The meetings usually start at 16.15 and the place of each meeting is announced in the notice of meeting. The meetings are also streamed for remote viewing on the student union’s YouTube account.
The Council’s 49 members and their supplementary members are elected every two years in the representative elections. Next representative elections are held in November 2020.
