Opening times and accesses

At Tampere University, student access rights will remain activated from 28 September onwards as follows:
- In the 24/7 zones on weekdays and Saturdays from 7.30 to 22, with the exception of the library facilities in the Kampusareena building on the Hervanta campus.
- In other areas on weekdays from 7:30 to 20 and in the Main building on Saturdays from 7:30 to 15.
- Electronic exams can be completed Monday through Sunday from 8 to 22 (also on public holidays) during the opening times of the campus buildings, but the number of people in the electronic exam facilities may not exceed 10. The time limit for electronic exams is 2 hours.
If there is a problem with the accesses linked to your student card, please visit the Main building infodesk at the city centre campus. At the Hervanta campus you can visit any one of the info desks to update your accesses.
The university facilities can not be entered without an access card for now. New student can enter with their tutoring groups, otherwise the info desk personnel will help you trough the doors. The info numbers are on city centre campus Main buildings main doors and on Hervanta campus Main building main doors. You can also contact the Service Office about problems with entering.
Student card and annual registration sticker
The new student cards are ordered from University’s website. The pick-up point is chosen when ordering the student card: you can pick up the student card from TREY Hervanta or city centre Service Office. Other options are TLK Office in Kauppi (Arvo-building) and Pointer ry Office in Pori campus. If you can not pick up your card yourself, you can arrange someone else to pick it up for you or we can post your student card to you. We attach the annual registration sticker on the student card before posting it. The enrolled students can download a free mobile student card from Pivo website.
Annual registration stickers can be collected normally from the TREY service offices. On Kauppi campus the TLK Office distributes annual registration stickers for TREY members. The Student Affairs Offices in Hervanta and city centre campus are distributing the stickers as well. If you can not visit the service offices, you can post your student card to us with a return envelope. The postal addresses are found here. The TREY members can collect their annual registration sticker also from some of the other student unions in other cities. Safety instuctions
Please remember to keep a safe distance when queueing to the Service Office. The annual registration sticker can be collected also from Student Affairs Office. There is a safety glass in front of the Service Office desk, please remain behind it when visiting the Service Office. If you are feeling unwell, do not come to the Service Office but use our remote services.
