The Federal Assembly has just elected a federal board for the coming year 2026. Among those elected to the board is TREY’s member Rolands Jansons. Rolands is a long-term student active who has served as, for example, TREY’s Vice Chair of the Board in 2024.

“Thank you for your confidence! I look forward to what the coming year will bring. I will do everything in my power to ensure good governance in the Sports Federation and to raise the Federation’s recognition in the student community”, Rolands states.

Today, the General Assembly elected Martta Sopanen, a member of the Board of the Student Union of the University of Helsinki this year, as the President of the Federation for next year. In addition to Rolands, Pekko Pirhonen was elected as a second member of the Board. Jenny Tynkkynen (Haaga-Helia) and Matti Heikkilä (University of Jyväskylä) were elected as Vice-presidents of the union.

TREY warmly congratulates Rolands and others elected to the Board!
