By following the Student Union’s communication channels, you will stay up-to-date on the most important events and news in student life! TREY’s most active social media communications is on Instagram, where you can find important information with a fun and relaxed twist. TREY’s account on Instagram is @treytampere. You can find TREY on Threads with the same handle.
TREY is also on Facebook, but our communications are most active on Instagram, the Telegram information channel and email. You can find TREY on Facebook under the name TREY – Tampereen ylioppilaskunta or @treytampere.
Our Youtube-channel can be found with the name Tampereen ylioppilaskunta. On Youtube, you can find, among other things, the recordings of the council meeting streams.
Want to get into Wappu vibes? The Biggest Wappu in Finland has its own Instagram account @suomensuurinwappu. Wappu is on TikTok, as well, with the handle @suomensuurinwappu.
Telegram-channel
We communicate matters concerning all students via our open Telegram information channel! The Telegram information channel communicates current issues of the Student Union and it will also support the University’s communication regarding themes concerning the entire community. You can join the information channel via this Telegram invite link!
Telegram is an instant messaging application that can be downloaded for e.g. Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. Telegram is in active use in many associations operating within TREY. TREY’s Telegram information channel is managed by TREY’s communications sector, which you can contact viestinta@trey.fi.
Telegram group for students with children
TREY maintains a Telegram group for students with families. The group is intended as peer support and a place for discussion for students who combine family life and studies. The group also offers the opportunity to buy, sell, give or exchange children’s supplies.
TREY’s group of students with families is maintained by TREY’s social affairs sector, which you can contact at sopo@trey.fi. The group can be joined by contacting the social affairs sector by email.
Newsletter
TREY’s newsletter contains events that are interesting for the community and information about current matters in the student union, the University and Tampere. TREY’s newsletter is published on Fridays. The student union is continuously forwarding information for the communication organisers of associations, and they can send newsletters about this information forward. In addition, the student union has newsletters concerning educational affairs and social affairs for those who are interested.

Table tents
TREY’s table tents are printouts that are distributed to the University restaurants once a month, and they contain the student union’s current news, events and advocacy news. The table tents are put together by TREY’s communication sector, who would gladly hear your feedback!
Student union’s calendar
The student union’s calendars are distributed together with the student cards and the annual registration stickers for members at the beginning of each fall semester.
