Suggest acknowledgements in 2026!
Has someone in your association made a significant contribution? Has a student representative advocated for students’ perspectives or done outstanding work in Council of Representatives? Has any action stood out among Tampere’s student community? What was the best Wappu event?
Now is your chance to tell TREY who or what should be recognized for their outstanding work on behalf of students. The form is now open and will be closed 18.10. at 23.59. The awards will be presented at the TREYHEM gala at the end of the year.
You can nominate individuals or initiatives through this forms!
International exchange student tutors needed for the spring semester 2027, search open October 1 – October 19!
A fresh batch of exchange students are arriving at Tampere University in January 2027, and we’re asking you to join us on a wild ride: want to help guide their first weeks at the university and in the city? We are recruiting student tutors from all associations and campuses between 1–19 October to tutor exchange students. International student tutoring offers fresh experiences, the opportunity to meet new people and a chance to practice your language skills! All the new tutors partake in a training session on 9 November.

Watches prohibited in EXAM rooms – please review the EXAM rules
The Tampere Higher Education Community is clarifying the practices related to electronic exams in TUNI EXAM in order to strengthen exam supervision, ensure consistent procedures, and clarify the ethical principles of studying. No watches of any kind may be brought into EXAM rooms, regardless of whether they have smart features or not. This means that both smartwatches and traditional watches are prohibited in EXAM rooms. The remaining exam time can be monitored on the computer screen during the exam.
You may only bring into the exam room a physical student card or official photo identification, a physical access card and the key to a storage locker, if applicable.

International Talents’ Mentoring Programme: Apply to be a mentee and get support from a mentor!
Are you an international degree student in the last stages of your studies? Would you like to get support from a mentor to reflect on your career goals and identify opportunities for job search in Finland? Applications are open 15.9.-15.10.2026. Apply now to become a mentee in the International Talents’ Mentoring Programme from January to April 2027.
International Talents’ Mentoring Programme is organized annually for TAU international students close to graduation. The mentoring programme aims to support the professional development of international talents, help them build professional networks, and enable them to share their international experiences with the mentors.
The mentors are experienced professionals in their own fields of specialty who, through the mentoring process, share their knowledge and skills with mentees at the beginning of their careers.
