TREY financially supports associations with association status by giving operational grants once a year. In 2023, the grant budget totals 81 000 euros. Additionally, the Tampere Student House Foundation is giving out 30 000 euros of their own grants along with TREY’s grants. Grants are given based upon criteria which have been approved at the end of the previous year. You can find the criteria on TREY’s website in the Grants-subpage.
The application period for the operational grant is open from 3rd April to 4th May 2023. Decisions on the operational grants will be made by 8th June, and the grants will be paid to associations by 30th July at the latest.
Only associations with association status at TREY are eligible for the grant. You can apply for association status through this Microsoft Forms form until 11th April. The criteria for granting association status are defined in TREY’s Association Standing Order.
All associations with association status at the Student Union of Tampere University can apply for either both parts or just one part of the operational grant. If an association has applied for one or both parts of the operational grant, they can also apply for the additional grant, given by the Student House Foundation.
