The Faculty Councils address faculty activities in research, teaching, and societal interaction, monitoring finances and following current issues concerning both the University and the faculty. The role of the student representatives is to act as the voice of students within the university administration and to ensure that students’ interests are not overlooked in decision-making.

Halloped positions are suitable both for students with previous experience in advocacy work and for those who have only recently become interested in the topic. Faculty councils are an excellent place to begin a career in student advocacy, but there is also plenty to do for those who have done advocacy longer.
