Association active, sign up for the Introduction to Accounting course!

TREY is organising an Introduction to Accounting course on Tuesday 18.2.2025 and Thursday 20.2.2025 for association actives operating within TREY. The course will be organised via Teams on both days at 15-17.

The course will cover association accounting basics in a practical way, which is why it is desirable for participants to familiarise themselves with their association’s accounting beforehand, so that the course can target practical questions and issues. The course will be using a spreadsheet for the accounting, but the practical exercise can be performed with any accounting software. The course consists of two two-hour lectures and a practical exercise.

Successfully completing this course proves the association’s treasurer’s prior knowledge required for TREY’s operational grant. The lectures will be recorded and will be available for viewing afterwards. The course will be conducted in Finnish, but the recordings will be subtitled in English during the spring. Thus, the course will be available to be completed also in English for TREY’s operational grant.
