A violent attack took place on Hämeenkatu on the night of Thursday 12 September. Witnesses and passerby included many of our students. What happened shocks our community and we want to provide information on where to get support to deal with the situation. The University has published a compilation on all available support measures on Intra.
Crisis helpline: Eyewitnesses are advised to call +358500625990, the 24/7 crisis and social services helpline maintained by the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa.
Group-based crisis support: Group-based support will be provided to eyewitnesses by the crisis and social services helpline and the local Red Cross at Meeting Place Tampuri (address: Otavalankatu 12a, Tampere) on Saturday 14 September, starting at 15.00.
