The General Assembly of the National Union of University Students in Finland is currently in progress, and the General Assembly has just elected the new Board! One of the elected candidates is TREY’s own candidate, the Executive Board’s educational affairs organiser, Ville Jäppinen! Yesterday, the General Assembly elected TREY’s Chair, Annika Nevanpää, as the President, so both TREY’s candidates got elected!
Ville is happy about his election: “It is a great honour and privilege to get to work for the whole student movement next year. I am happy that the General Assembly has given me their trust to be on the Board of the Union. I also want to say a big thank you to all who helped with my campaign and who supported me on the way!”
The other candidates elected for the Board were Konstantin Kouzmitchev from the Student Union of National Coalition Party, Aleksi Sandroos from the Student Union of the University of Vaasa, Akseli Rouvari from the Student Union of the University of Helsinki, Camilla Saarinen from the Student Union of the University of Turku and Saara Tenhovuori from the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland.
TREY congratulates Annika, Ville and the other candidates elected to the Board!
