This spring, we will introduce a new association portal through which associations will apply for operational grants from the Student Union and also have access to other association services. We are organising a naming contest for the new association portal. The winner of the naming contest will receive a medal to hang, for example, from your overalls, as well as a 20 euros S-Ryhmä gift card. The nominations will be evaluated by TREY’s association and communications sector and the winner will be announced in the training on 8 April. Name suggestions for the association portal can be submitted through this Microsoft Forms link. Submitting a name proposal requires logging in with your tuni-account. Name suggestions can be submitted until 26 March 2025.
What are operational grants?
In 2025, TREY will distribute 86 000 euros in operational grants to associations with TREY’s association status. Grants are stipulated in TREY’s Association Standing Order and the 2025 operational grants criteria. You can read more about the operational grants criteria from TREY’s website here. The application period for operational grants is open from 9 April to 5 May.
The new Association Portal
Applications for operational grants are made through TREY’s new association portal. In addition to operating grant applications, other TREY organizational services will be included in the portal. Training on the use of the portal will be held for associations on 8 April at 16:15 in the small hall of Festia FA133 on the Hervanta campus. It is possible to participate in the training remotely, as well. Participation is strongly recommended to the chairpersons of associations and others who may use the portal. You can sign up for the training through this Microsoft Forms link. The training will be recorded and can be viewed afterwards. The training will be bilingual.
