22.10. Well-being Week: The f*ck is a porridge bar?
The f*ck is a porridge bar? The f*ck are council elections? So what are these elections all about, why should I vote in them and how do I vote? Now’s your chance to get your questions answered over an epic porridge bar! Come and enjoy a homemade porridge breakfast with a variety of tasty toppings on Tuesday 22.10. 9-11am in the Language center kitchen in the main building of the Hervanta campus! Breakfast will be available throughout the event and you do not need to register in advance.
24.10. Election panel
You don’t need to choose between the cuties Moo Deng and Pesto the penguin, but you do need to choose a council election candidate to vote for! TREY’s council election panel on Thursday 24 October will highlight the visions of the electoral alliances and the topics that divide them. The panel will take place in the Väinö Linna -sali on the city center campus and it will be streamed to TREY’s Youtube channel. The panel discussion in English will be at 11-12 and the discussion in Finnish at 12-13. Welcome to see and hear the debate of the electoral alliances!
31.10. & 4.-5.11. Election festivals
The election festivals take over our campuses on 31 October and 4-5 November – are you ready for it? The election festivals combine traditional election fairs and exciting happenings to election events that have never been seen before! Election festivals are held on campuses as follows:
- Hervanta campus on Thursday 31 October at 10-14
- Kauppi campus on Monday 4 November at 10-14
- City center campus on Tuesday 5 November at 10-14

6.11. Election night
Who makes it to the council of representatives? Which electoral alliance gets the most seats in the council? The council elections will culminate in the election night on Wednesday 6 November!
TREY’s election night will be held in the TEK lounge of the Hervanta campus on Wednesday 6 November at 17.30. The election night kicks off with an election studio, where we will interview election candidates and electoral alliances before the highlight of the evening – the election result! The election studio will be streamed to TREY’s Youtube channel and you are most warmly welcome to check it out via stream or in person at TEK Lounge! The election hype is ever growing!
