As a candidate, you can redeem the reflective overall badge from the Student Union’s service Offices starting at 21 October.
The candidate combination has been accepted and all candidates now have numbers. You can find the candidate combination and your candidate number on the trey.fi/candidates page.
On campuses, election screens have been set up, with space reserved for each electoral alliance for an A3-sized poster. The rules of election marketing, like all other electoral documents, can be found on the TREY electoral documents page.
The election aid response link should have came to every candidate via their personal tuni.fi email. The response time on the election machine is until Sunday 20 October. The election machine will be released to the public on Monday 21 October and the machine will be marketed on behalf of the Student Union.
On behalf of the Student Union, the following events are reserved for the marketing of your electoral alliance:
Election panel 24 Oct at 11-13
TREY’s council election panel on Thursday 24 October will highlight the visions of the electoral alliances and the topics that divide them. The panel will take place in the Väinö Linna -auditorium on the city center campus and it will be streamed to TREY’s Youtube channel. The panel discussion in English will be at 11-12 and the discussion in Finnish at 12-13.
The Electoral alliances can choose one representative to the Finnish speaking panel and one representative to the English speaking panel. A sign-up Forms link has been sent to the spokespeople of the electoral alliances.
You can attend the panel as spectator and cheer your colleagues even if you do not represent your electoral alliance in the panel. Spectating the panel is open for all.
Election festivals -tour on campuses 31 Oct & 4-5 Nov
The election festivals combine traditional election fairs and exciting happenings to election events that have never been seen before! Election festivals are held on campuses as follows:
- Hervanta campus on Thursday 31 October at 10-14
- Kauppi campus on Monday 4 November at 10-14
- City center campus on Tuesday 5 November at 10-14
The Electoral Alliances should sign-up for the election festivals by 27 October. Sign-up Forms-link has been sent to the spokespeople of the electoral alliances via email. Through the form, an advertising slide is also collected from election alliances for information display screens that play non-stop during the festivals. There is also an opportunity for open mic performances in the election festivals for the Electoral alliances. Electoral alliance spokespeople have received links to campus-specific open mic Doodle reservations via email.
You can participate in the election festival at the stand of your electoral alliance and market your candidacy there. Participation in the election happening and visiting the electoral alliance fair are open to everyone. Invite your friends to get crazy about the election!
We also encourage activity and organising your own events on campus. If you need a space reservation for your electoral alliance’s event on campus, we at vaalit@trey.fi will help with those as well!
Election night 6 Nov at 17:30-22 in Hervanta
We would like to invite you candidates, your potential supporters and friends to the Student Union’s official election night in Hervanta on 6 November at 17:30-22! The programme features an exciting elections results studio and after the studio, the afterparty atmosphere is lifted to the ceiling by Spinni!
